I honor and give my deepest love and gratitude to all of my teachers on this path. I honor the Leaf, and all of the farmers and families who care for her. I honor the chajin who connected with her for the past thousands of years, meeting her openly in their own lives, and preserving and carrying her and her traditions through, for us. I bow to my teachers, Wu De and Tian Wu, for their deep devotion, continuous study, their fine example, and their openness to sharing the fullness of their knowledge and their practice, with those who are seeking. I have so much gratitude for my lifelong friend Brea, who served me my first bowl of tea and who has guided me with utmost grace along my journey. I give thanks to Global Tea Hut and to the team there, who give tirelessly and joyfully, to the mission of sharing Tea’s love. I thank all of my tea brothers and sisters who I have learned alongside. As Wu De says “tea lessons are life lessons” and this couldn’t be more true. And I send love and gratitude, to every person I have ever sat and shared tea with. Thank you for sharing your hearts and your time, with me.
